Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a common skin condition that affects over 31 million people in the United States. It can show up as dry, itchy, inflamed patches of skin that may crack, ooze, or become infected. While eczema can affect anyone, it often starts in childhood and can persist or reappear in adulthood.
