Cheese made from the milk of cows and goats fed on hay is an important part of the diet because it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins D3 and K2. Vitamins K2 and D3 help regulate calcium metabolism and together they inhibit gallstone formation.

Foods rich in organic acids and natural enzymes are particularly important for the entire digestive system, including the liver and gallbladder.

Raw fermented dairy products enriched with probiotics such as whey and kefir are extremely beneficial. Fresh vegetable and fruit juices can provide the body with essential vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants. Split meals: Meals should be smaller but more frequent so as not to overload the digestive system and to avoid excessive fluctuations in gallbladder contractions.

Vegetables and fruit: These foods are usually high in fibre, which can help maintain normal digestion.

Wholegrains: These types of foods are also rich in fibre and can contribute to digestive health.

Less processed food: pre-packaged, processed foods tend to be high in fat and salt, so it’s best to avoid them.
